Sheree Thompson
Founder & Executive Director
Sheree Thompson is a native of Canton, Mississippi, with a lifelong passion for service and community engagement. At the age of 16, she discovered her calling to serve others after meeting the late Ms. Johnnie Rogers at her local Boys & Girls Club. The experience inspired her to become a volunteer and participate in various community initiatives aimed at supporting individuals and families in need. Her commitment to helping others and her interest in understanding human behavior and social interactions led her to pursue a degree in sociology.

Sheree earned her Doctorate in Healthcare Administration from Oklahoma State University (2025). She also holds a Bachelor’s degree from Jackson State University (2011) and a Master’s degree in Leadership from Belhaven University (2019). Her academic journey reflects her dedication to leadership, service, and advancing healthcare and community development.
Outside of her professional and volunteer work, Sheree enjoys spending quality time with her family. She is married to Curtis Thompson, and together they have two daughters, Caleigha and Caylee, along with their beloved fur baby, Bella. As a family, they enjoy game nights and traveling together.
Nakita Dozier
Director, Health & Wellness
Nakita Dozier is a native of Canton, MS. She has been giving back to the community for years with her clinical support in Mississippi as well as Louisiana. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern University A&M College to become a Registered Nurse. Later, she went on to become a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and implement educational teaching regarding healthcare to many members of the community.
Healthcare has been one of her biggest dreams. She has utilized this dream to support numerous organizations in the surrounding area, including hospitals and clinics. As a clinician, she promotes healthier lifestyles and encourages change that will be effective. She enjoys traveling, marching band music, family gatherings, and volunteering in her spare time.
Dr. Jay Levy
President
Dr. Jay Levy is a native of Canton, MS and has been an educator for the past decade. He has earned a Bachelor’s degree in English; a Master’s degree in English; a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership; and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction. Dr.Levy began his career in education as an English teacher before transitioning to administrative roles such as curriculum specialist and curriculum director.
Currently, Dr. Levy serves as a professor of education at Belhaven University. His hobbies and interests include reading, watching Ole Miss football, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Levy is an advocate for all things education and providing youth with equitable platforms that allow them to reach their dreams beyond anything imagined.
Jasmine Dilworth
Treasurer
Born and raised in Canton, MS, Jasmine has earned multiple titles over the years including mother, banker, and business owner. But before she realized she was in love with banking and accounting, Jasmine always had a heart for helping people. Inspired at a church summit, she quickly developed a deep passion for assisting nonprofit charities in any way she could.
Jasmine has a desire to help others and love to deal with accounting and finance which birthed the decision to pursue a degree in Accounting. She has worked on multiple community service projects with church organizations, tutoring with Canton Public School District, and helping family and friends understand the importance of financial education.
When not volunteering,Jasmine is spending time with her husband, son (Michael and Michael Jr.), and family. Because she had such a strong support system, Jasmine now has the tools and determination to help when She can and where She can without the pressures of expecting something in return.
Kimber Green
Secretary
Kimber Green is a native of Canton, Mississippi. She obtained an Associate of Science degree from Hinds Community College. She is an experienced healthcare IT professional and works as a Program Specialist in Austin, Texas where she currently resides. Driven by her passion for helping others, she takes pride in being a great mentor and leader. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and reading inspirational books.
